    I've just found another wicked wetherspoons pub at finchley road station - just one stop from baker street and there's a cinema like 20 feet away!!

    We went for drinks and food there and then to see star wars - highly recomend the place it was much nicer then Baker Street .. and staff were excellent - they served 24 of us with food in less then 30 minutes.

    Sorry? What part of London do you live in? They on occasion close small sections of the network, its very rare they close down a whole line, let alone 'a lot'.

    Yer...and don't they usually tell you ages in advance? Like...when I went to Erasure with my mum in March they had a sign up in the tubes saying they were doing repairs on the Circle line on the day of the last meet...

    Actually I'll be at pride, letting the side down :blush:
    I can't get enough time off / money from my job in London to go up to Edinburgh.

    To that end, I can't get the 3rd off, so make it so I can get there after 6. :yes:

    The 3rd July is a Sunday

    .... Anyway here are pictures I took last week from the finchley road place - the Wetherspoons there is upstairs and very nice inside, the big tables are at the back of the place overlooking the street. Table 100 and surrrounding is big... although in the non smoking section I think!! ... plus you can go watch a movie there next door as well!!

    They actually have a bungee rope and attach people to it and then bounce then like 60 ft into the air
