    Pretty sure you can over the internet, people can call you from a landline but I don't know if you'd need to set up a phone number and thus incur a charge, I'm not sure.

    From landline I am almost certain there is a charge.

    It needs to fixedline to skype. I downloaded StenaPhone which gives you a number so you can get incoming calls.

    hey felix could you tell me if this is a cheap viable alternative to home phoneline? what are the costs involved with the stenaphone shit, and where can i download it? i tried googling it but all that comes up is this thread.......and can you go roaming with this, like say go to a cafe with hotspot and chat via ur laptop........? the call charges are interesting, only 1p/min to UK landline, but 15p/min to mobiles, is this cheaper than from a standard landline?..........
