Hi, My girlfriend and I have tried to have sex, but she being a virin, experiences extreme pain when inserting my penis into her vagina. We do it very (painfully) slowly and it still hurts.

I don't really know what the problem is. Could it be serious?

I don't have a huge penis, so it must be something else.

Could you please help us out. We really want to have sex, but this pain that she feels is stopping us from going any further.

    Trust me its normal. Losing ur virginity is SOO painful!!

    Make sure she is quite wet. Have alot of foreplay. Lubricant will help and using a condom will make it "slide" in easier. It will still cane the first time for her but it may make it not as hurtful. Hope that helps.

    Best to do a stack of foreplay. Get your g/f really warmed up. The effect is 2-fold; 1) your g/f will get nicely lubed up and 2) her box will expand slightly in readiness (a sort of inverted erection).

    Don't overdo it mind, you wouldn't want to get to the stage when you slip it in you start rattling around.

    Don't forget she may be a bit apprehensive. Take it slow 'n easy.

    I know someone who isnt a virgin but still experiences pain during intercourse, I believe that she has been to the docs and is going for tests but I hope she is ok and its nothing serious - we kinda dont see eachother anymore so I cant ask her <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif"&gt;

    What could cause that? Is it common?

    a common cause for pain and tightness during intercourse is vaginismus, when the muscles tighten involuntarily, and yes it is quite common.

    it hurt me for the first few times... but it hurt again recently for no reason at all <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif"&gt; it wasnt through lack of foreplay, thats for sure...
