Advice needed about Heroin.

I have a 20yr old friend that has been smoking H for over a year, does any1 know if he would be able to quit with just willpower alone? he also smokes weed and crack and says
that he is NOT an addict, what do you all think!!!!

I would have to say yes, they are most probably addicted to some degree, it is nearly impossible to smoke heroin and crack over the long term and not become addicted to them... they are both physically and mentally highly addictive.

Sorry to give bad news but it sounds like your friend is deluding his/herself, 99% of poeple will go downhill quite fast smoking Skag and Crack regurlarly, unfortunately there are many out there who with just a little nudge from these substances convince themselves that they are the 1%

If you were to invite this friend on holiday for a week or two, would they come without bringing a stash, foil and pipe? probably not

Heroin and Crack are pretty-much the nastiest drugs around.

PS - everyone is a victim of our messed-up drug policies & education, if you want them to give up don't cut them off as a friend, but it sounds like your friend does need a boot up the arse (Willpower isn't going to get them anywhere if they can't even admit they are addicted), whatever you do don't get dragged in.

It's difficult not become addicted to heroin, so it is likely that he is addicted.
The best advice will come from your GP or local hospital drugs service.
