Contact Lenses

I need to get prescription contact lenses as i can't wear glasses, the only thing is I wanted to get some coloured or styled ones not just plain clear ones, does anyone know what opticians are good and will do nice styled ones?

Also, how expensive are the styled ones?

You can get prescription coloured/styled contacts but they do cost quite a lot. Ask your optician.

For crying out loud contact lenses are not a fashion accessory, they are for people with bad eyesight :banghead: Just wear fucking normal ones. Jeez.

johnsons do coloured contact lenses, they are avaiable in most opticians, I know for a fact they do them at vision express.
they do a good fitting service there too.
that said, they're only different colours, you cant get things like cats eyes shaped that are prescription too.

You can get them from most opticians, but they are quite a bit more expensive than clear lenses. My suggestion would be to get clear ones for day to day wear, and then get a set of coloured ones to just wear when youre going out or something. Theyre a bit of a luxury really to be wearing for everyday. Whats wrong with your eyes? They just looked like normal eyes when I saw you. Its not like coloured lenses really change what your eyes look like, they just change the colour, subtley, depending on what your original colour is.

My friend, who happens to be blind as a bat bless him, got some blue coloured contacts and I dunno how much they cost him but they didn't look real at all.

You'd never look into his eyes and think wow haven't you got lovely blue eyes, that's what he wanted people to think, but you wouldn't cos they just had a fake cheap look about them.

So maybe you're gonna have to fork out quite a bit to get a decent pair.

I dunno though, I don't wear them or glasses so I haven't got a clue really.

I just hate it when people want glasses or contact lenses to be 'fashionable' They should try having to wear them every fucking waking hour.
