Just wondering if the main members of the royal family e.g. the queen, charles, william etc have passed a driving test.

"During the Second World War, Princess Elizabeth enlisted in the Army. She joined the Auxiliary Territorial Services as a Second Subaltern. It was in the Army that she learned to drive a car, as well as how to change a tyre and understand the workings of its engine, and she still prides herself on her driving skills"

if eating a pie whilst driving is illegal ...is waving ones hand to the peasants also illegal whilst driving?
can royalty in fact have points put on their liciences and are they finable?
if they don't pay their fines ...we can't exactly throw 'em jail can we.

There was a prog on BBC 1 recently that followed the workers & royal family @ Windsor castle.

They showed the Queen & Prince Philip driving around the estate grounds:)

They can drive, the guys can fly normally and pilot ships (though that's straightforward, turn the wheel left, etc etc). A lot of it's to do with the royal families' connection with the armed forces, they are all in the navy or air force I think.
