Where can i get a divx player where i can play .avi files?

    Do you mean a codec to watch div-x, or a player to play them? 'Cos Windows Media Player will play them...you just need the right codec.

    Go to Cole2k and scroll down a bit and download the codecs from there: very comprehensive.

    I want to watch a .avi episode of 24, on windows media player you can here what they'r saying but can't see it.

    Right: go to that link I posted and download the codecs - should sort you out no problem.

    Strangely, one of my mates had this exact problem earlier today....

    It says for video codec in the properties " unknown"

    Yup.

    Getting that pack of codecs should make sure you can watch 99% (if not 100%) of downloaded movies.

    A file that Windows media player said was corrupt.. played on VLC, just a split second was missing in the middle, I love that program and .ogm files.. no problem :) now not many players will play that without a plug in,
