Much as the thought of Galloway getting beaten up by radical Islamists appeals to me in one way, its a bit worrying that things in Bethnal Green and Bow are getting that violent and its an assault on democracy if candidates cannot walk the streets putting forward their message without fear of attack.
This comes comes on top of the disruption (probably by the same group) of the Muslim Council of Britain's meeting yesterday
Also whilst I'm sure many of us also laughed at Kilroy-Silk getting covered in shit and Prescott getting hit by an egg, these were assaults and the perpetrators got next to no punishments.
Should we be cracking down on those who use violence, intimidatin and threats to disrupt the democratic political process.
