Can anyone recommend a good cheapish hair dye, thats semi permenant and wont do "strange" things to my hair.

    all the hair dye that you can do your self is quite cheap under £10 that isnt permanant and lasts up to 14 washes or is it 7 :S
    go to superdrug or boots.

    But, beware, although it says semi-permanent, they contain ammonia and peroxide and are therefore NOT semi's. :rolleyes:

    Last time I died my hair I used herbal essance. It said on the pack brown. My hair is now black again :| Not impressed. I almost killed my hair trying to lift the black off and now one crappy dye THAT SAID BROWN dyed it black again. I'm hoping it will fade down but I'm so pissed off.

    to faid it, smother your hair in pure lemon juice and leave it for hours then rinse.

    do it a few times

    worked for me
