Tongue piercing....

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Hey everyone.
I had my tongue pierced yesterday, and while it didn't hurt at first, it now hurts to talk, drink and eat :crying: . i'm sure this is because it's swollen up, and while i know your tongue generally does swell up if someone puts a needle through it :p , i was wondering if anyone knew how to make the swelling go down faster?
Thanks for any help given, really appreciate it.

When I had mine done I just had ibuprofen, and had cold water and ice cream to soothe it.

^^Like they said, Ibuprofen reduces inflamation and sucking on some ice, or even better eating an icecream is a good idea! hehe.
