    I heard about this. Nice quote in the Guardian about firing someone last week for telling the truth but refusing to fire this guy for lying...

    It's entirely different when candidates themselves unscrupulously misrepresent scenarios (in this case with no respect for principle or the family at the centre of the deportation row) for political gain.
