Hi everyone, my names Kate, and I have just stumbled across this site trying to sort myself out a placement job for September. So thought Id say hello!!!

Im at Northumbria Uni on a Business degree (well actually deferred for a year as I have just become a mummy too) anything else you want to know, just ask!!

    just read the thread further down about not using text talk, and got scared that all my messages so far would have been written awfully, I was actually quite impressed at how well I type when I'm not thinking about it!! Thought I would have been a proper text typer!

    could someone please explain to me about the coloured dots next to everyones name, and the slogan under your name. I have a green dot and am a fast newbie, ta :)

    A green dot means you're online (logged in to thesite), a blue dot means you're offline (logged out of thesite).

    The 'fast newbie' bit just goes along with how many posts you've made. If you want to customise this, then you need to send a PM to one of the moderators and they'll change it for you.

    Thats the way they used to do it, anyway...
