WI-FI antenna

Yeah so mine has broke and cannot go back on. well it could but I cannot seem to unscrew the bottem bit of the antenna. What can I use for an antenna just untill I get a new one?

    Depends upon the make and model. I read an interesting ebook about wireless networking, which included a section on making your own antennas - including one built into a Pringles can! (a special directional antenna). :D

    Coathanger.

    Piece of wire... wrap it round an object, like a cardboard tube.

    Anything really... be imaginative!

    but if you get a static charge on it e.g. from it touching the screen on a TV you could blow up the components inside your equipment

    I has a radio mic as a kid and took it near a TV and that blew up!!
