Pregnancy...?

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Well... this month i have had a period, but normally i get quite heavy ones that last for 5/6 days, and this one was a bit lighter but has only lasted for 3 days... i was wondering, if after reading the topic about pregnancy if it's possible that this could happen if i was pregnant.

Erm, I don't know. I've never heard of periods (light or heavy) at any time during pregnancy, but I s'pose it may happen rarely?

If you think you may be pregnant, go to your doctor or buy a home pregnancy test as soon as possible.

You might also want to check around thesite for sex information. Because to be pregnant, sperm will have had to hit egg at some point, if you know what I mean. And that's a little difficult if you haven't been having sex.

Unless you've had sex with someone else recently, of course. Doesn't have to be your boyfriend. (Not our business).

You can bleed during pregnancy (something I learned recently!) and you don't have to have had sex to be pregnant - if your boyfriend fingers you with a bit of cum on his hands or something then there is a chance, however small, that you may be pregnant.

But you could just be having an irregular month - mine vary like crazy. Don't let it worry you too much but maybe get it checked out to put your mind at rest?

    Good luck

Yes you could be pregnant, like I said in my post you can get withdrawal bleeding especially in the first months of pregnancy.

On the other hand like Chickadee says you could just be having an irregular month, mine can be as close together as two weeks, lasting from three to seven days, so don't worry unnecessarily.

But definitely get it checked out Cara, it's not worth worrying about it, trust me And good luck, I hope every turns out ok for you.

Yep, obviously it's possible to get pregnant that way Chickadee, but I'm just saying it's very unlikely! Still possible though.

k guys, thanks a lot. sorry, i think i was worrying a tad too much cos i just sorta fell out with my boyf, and was all upset, and then i thought about that too... argh...

anyway, i think i'm ok, its too heavy for withdrawal bleeding i think, and its not very likely that i will be.

    thanks y'all, luv ya!
