Information needed quite quickly fao: driving.

I bought a car the day before yesterday and my provisional licence and all associated stuff is with the DVLA, while I'm waiting for them to process and ship off my full licence so obviously I'm in possession of neither licences.

However, I need to be somewhere the day after tomorrow and seeing as they take 15 working days to get it back to you I know I definitely won't have it by then. If I get pulled over and have a copy of my drivers number, will it still be a problem or can the police still run a check and see I've actually passed and everything? Don't wanna end up getting banned for driving without a licence, obviously.

Any help appreciated, ta.

    if you are doing something illegal and/or the police just want to be bastards, they can demand to see your full drivers liscense down at the station when you get it
