What should I do to help my daughter?

I know my 16 year old daughter smokes cannabis fairly regularly. I don't have a big problem with it,as I have seen the far worse damage alcohol does, but I am aware that it is illegal, and that if she is caught, a conviction might prejudice her future job prospects etc(she wants to work with children). She thinks it is all just a laugh and she isn't very discreet about it. I think she and her friends feel immune to being caught.
Any advice from those of you who know about this? What can I do to help her exercise a bit of caution?

I'd say the best thing to do for her would be to be there for her and support her, express your opinions honestly and try and stear her away from the dealing aspect... educate her about saftey with regards to getting caught (ie. don't smoke spliffs in public), she'll probably tell you she already knows all this but at least your voice has been heard and hopefully your mind will be put a bit better at rest.
With regards to her job, or any job for that matter, just make her aware about the children with regards to cannabis, you could inform her that drugs tests are slowly being brought in and that if a substance is found she will loose her job, tell her that cannabis stays in the system for a minimum of about 28 days....
Its difficult, just be supportive, at that age many youngesters go through cannabis use as a phase and she may well grow out of it... good luck <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">
It is possible to have this pass time and still hold down a good job as me and many of my friends do.
