Info on K?

I have a friend who is dying to try K, Special K, ketamine....etc. I've heard nothing but bad things about it, but nothing really concrete...just stuff like "Oh that shit is fucked up", and the like...nothing I
would really call informative.

The only thing I know for sure is that it is a really strong painkiller. I've heard its easy to OD on, does anyone know anything?

taken in small doses it gives you a strange detatched feeling, but it is very easy to have to much and end up in a k-hole when you can't do anything talk walk etc...... so in effect you just slump into a heap in the corner <IMG alt="image" SRC="frown.gif" border="0"> i havn't tried it for that reason

Actually its commmonly used as a human anaesthetic as well.
It is a dissasociative, meaning that it makes your mind feel seperate to your body, so you can get out of body experiences on it.
In small doses (the size of the amount needed for effect really is very small) it can give you a floating feeling, and makes your body feel weightless.

It can make everything seem dream-like, and you may be unsure of what is real. It makes you uncooridinated, which in a club can be annoying/embarresing, but its not too bad in that respect.

In larger amounts oyu may well enter the k-hole. This is something I have avoided so can't say first hand what it is like, but from what other people tell me it is something to be avoided!! Descriptions of it include 'the ultimate fuckedness' and 'avoid it!'

Although one person said that if you go into it NOT thinking its going to be awful, and looking at it as a good thing it can be great. I'm avoiding it.

I think it can be great fun... however I've also noticed it seems to really fuck with the memory. If your friend is going to do it, start with the smallest amount... a tiny line nothing like the size of speed/coke. Be with people who aren't on it as well and, if possible, people who have been on it before. And beware of falling over, hurting yourself, and not realising as you will feel quite numb.

how the hell is pasing out overdosing lol. I would just like to add that i tried k last night and i would like to add that it is the best experience i have ever had. Ecstasy ? fuck that shit i got k now much better. i tried it all apart from smack which i will never do. and honestly ketamine is AMAzing. i looked at the clock i thought god must be like 3:00am it was 12 time slows down big time. i was sober at the time of taking it well kinda sober for me about 3 or 4 pints and it was so strong i couldnt stand, speak properly, move. it was amazing feeling a room full of people on ketamine . Haven't actually tried the stuff myself but have only heard negative reports from friends.
Had one girlfriend that it didn't do a thing to. She was with some other people and they all felt the effects but she didn't get anything.
Another good friend who at the time can now admit he was a cocaine addict, took a good amount since he was used to doing such large amounts of coke. He said that he didn't feel the effects for a while but then realized he was having a hard time talking and it took him about 10 minutes to lift his hand to his pocket to get a cigarette. He said it was somewhat enjoyable but to make sure that you weren't planning to go anywhere for a good while if you do a lot of it.
The last one I witnessed and it was terrible. This guy at a party took a bunch of it and then pretty much was lying on the floor- conscious but he couldn't move. He wasn't a very popular guy with the people who were there and some of the guys used this opportunity to piss all over him. I just can't imagine how bad that would be, to be awake and conscious watching someone do that but not being able to move or to shield your face or anything. <IMG alt="image" SRC="eek.gif" border="0">
Anyways, just take VERY SMALL amounts to start but in my opinion it sounds like a drug to avoid.

i dont wish to cause a row but i would like to add that it is NOT a drug to advoid at all. to new people i would say ecstasy is a drug to advoid its more dangerous. Ok if ur new BE with someone who knows about ketamine as u wont know where u are but its much better. Dont listen to the crap about it dont shit to me that person obviously didnt do proper ketamine. unless she was bigger than a horse. yeh thats rite it puts horses asleep how the **** could it not effect a human!!!! Yes Ketamine can put horses to sleep, but that is a very strong and concentrated dose which has been designed to do as such, people wanting to feel the effects of ketamine are going to go and intentionally knock themselfs out, that would be a waste honestly...

I've taken Ketamine a lot, most of you who take ecstasy have taken small Ketamine doses cause the pills often get cut with it, along with amphetamine and filler agent..

Remember, be safe, like metioned it is safer to take things with people who know what they are doing...

Well thanks for that very informative reply James. All I was trying to say by my previous post is that you need to be careful how much you take because its hard to predict how much it will take to affect you.

As for my friend that it did nothing to... could have been that she has an exceptionally high tolerance to tranquilizers and is on a very strong muscle relaxer to sleep nights. Who knows, but it is true that she did take the same thing as the other people there without effect.

the ketamine we get we cool ourself. so its 100 pure. u cant build a tollerance to ketamine easy. I had a mad time last nite on it i must admit i over steped the mark and done too much. i was halucenating big time. i wont go that mad again i must say. mad my nose bleed too...

I've tried K many times but have to say it's not for everyone. At first I didn't really like it but I soon aquired a taste for it. <IMG alt="image" SRC="tongue.gif" border="0">

First time I did it was by accident. A couple of years ago one summer a group of us chipped in and scored about 150 LoveHeart pills. We went back to my mates house who had a room kitted out above his barn. Everyone started doin lines and before long there was about 15 of us trippin our bollcks off.

Wandering around the room with things growing and shrinking with no balance and everyone in fits of laughter it was a wicked night. In the right setting it can be a good crack but I've never bothered doing it in a club. It's not really a dance drug.

I think it's one of the most horrible things to snort (really canes your nose) but that is really only way worth doing it.

James in my opinion K comes nowhere close to ecstasy. It is good fun but no where as good as MDMA.

Tolerance builds very quickly! I think its a lot of fun, although I usually only do it with pills... haven't really done it much on its own as its not as fun.

It's not really a dance drug.

I think its kinda fun to dance on... but only if you do small amounts. You can move a lot quicker, and have even more energy then just on E. But you do lose a little co-ordination, which can be a problem.

i read on the good drugs guide web page that tollernce is high. it does cane ur nose i just done a little bit and got a nose bleed. its much better than mdma no come down nothing just a good chill or trip.

I pay £20 a gram... and its pretty good stuff. rarely buy the stuff tho. Too much of it can ruin a good night and its also one of the most dangerous and damaging drugs I take. Big links to serious brain damage even with quite small dosage.

Just another random Question: does K make you chew like pills and speed? Some one told me that its the K that is cut with speed and pills that makes you chew on them. Anyone know?

about $NZ80-100 a gram (about £30) but then its NZ isn't it, we all get ripped something stupid.. thats why I stick with 'A is for Acid' being only $NZ40 (£13ish) each..

Its the cheapest next to NOS and Weed...

On one site I read it said that the safest way to do ketamine (and even like this is could still be damaging) was one or two line doses every coule of weeks. It sounds like its been over cautious, but it did seem like a fair site.

I only ever do it with pills really, so I couldn't say about the jaw action... I did some on the weekend and could have gurned for england, but I also had a few pills in me.

MY GOD. Have none of you ever taken ketamine to enhance sex??! IT'S SOOOOOOOOO GOOD. My girlfriend and i frequently snort a couple of lines, get naked and just writhe around on each other having some of the best sex you can think of. It dissolves all the barriers that sex should. Nope. Things that make you gurn include amphetamine, MDMA, MDEA, and MDA.

Ketamine is not a substance that wil make you chew. The pills I've had that have been pure Ketamine (RR's and Love Heart's) are always very clean white pills and they're very hard.

This is a UK sight right? I'm really surprised that there are not more users on this sight and at the unfamiliararity of the substance "K". Its been big in the party scene for the last 8 yrs or so in the US. We would get ketaset(brand) from the vets which was as good as it gets and pure. After a huge bust in Miami which is where a lot of it came from(Its not as big on the west coast) we started getting it from Mexico and it wasn't as good. Now my friends and I get it from friends in London who love it. They get it cheaply from India. Anyway, I can understand how it can be a bit hard to grasp initially. Its effects ephinephrine receptors and blocks certain areas of the brain creating dissociation. Its like your thoughts are clear and you see things clearly but their is a barrier in between making it hard to interact with the outside world. Now getting in a hole is another story completely. It s more like doing dexytriptomine(DMT) and can be compared to a spiritual journey. Lots can happen, but a common theme for me is to be approached by those others, the enlightened ones of community subconscousness. They invite me to join them and share my mind b/c no one at this level has anything to hide. Its almost like your tapping deep in your brain in a way only experienced Buddhist and meditators of various spiritual orientationcan can. So back to the basics. This drug, due to its dissociative qualitys is kind of an aquired taste to some, but once you aquire a taste it is the best. Its good to start in a comforatable environment. Just like with hallucinogens a hostile bad vibe environement can bring out the worst in an altered state and with out the ability to cope. But whereas when I do fungus or paper and often fight what I know is the effects of the drugs, ketamine just sweeps me up into a believable story. If your going to try it is an excellent follow up for E. When you go to a club and get to the point where another roll just barely substains your buzz and the peak is frm over, but you are still in a relaxed state, go back home with some friends, put on some dub music sit down and be prepared for a brand new adventure that's as fun as any moment you experienced while you were out dancing. It will take your living room and flip it inside out. Other good qualities: not addictive if snorted(better buzz in my opinion than shooting it in muscle which is more like having a body weight than psycedelic experience and can be addictive). I read a medical journal that was 90% over my head but stated that it was one of the safest anesthetics around b/c qulitys to sedate without slowing heart rate down. If you snort you will pass out before you ever od. The best sex I ever had was on it(I was able to maintain excitabilty and last 10 minutes longer. She would always get more excited and have double the orgasms plus it is a very seductive and surreal event in which you can shape in your own dream setting and think that you aRE LOCKING SUBCONSCOUSLY. It also only last 45 minutes and leaves you feeling reletively well the next day. Not good if you drink with lots of alcohol and not good when you need to be alert and social with others who are not on it. I could go on forever and have some awesome stories but I need to stop for now. Hope someone reads and gets something out of this.

Id like to add the fact that ketamine is illegal in the US, but isnt in the UK

It is a safe drug i mean i wont do much damage to ur body and head (unless u do it all the time)
It is addictive both phsycologically and physically
supposidly doing it when ur high off pills is supposed to be a really gud feeling, and the best drug to use it with is supposed to be coke

It wasn't to long ago that k was legal in the states just as ghb was. Slowly it started to get a name for itself outside the medical field. Unfortunately this reputation was growing through the rave scene and the irresponsible children that represented it. But still, this scene was relatively underground in most areas excluding bigger citys and even if a cop caught you with it and actually knew what it was it wouldn't go far in court and was labeled schedule 3 at most(least severe). But the rave scene grew and unlike being a way of life socially for all types of people it was labelled as all night music halls full of children. Finally through many deaths from doing excess amts of drugs, taking rolls with bad cut, and especially ghb, anything surrounding the scene was labeled as bad and although K is still reletively unknown on a larger scale and they don't test for it it is illegal. I wouldn't be surprised if England heads in a similiar direction. As far as it being addictive, well anything you like can be psychologically addictive exercise, eating, sex, cleaning, or even picking your nose, but K ability to be physical addictive is minimal and takes a little work. I think the golden rule is to not shoot it b/c that has more addictive tendencies. Also one must question there own addictive tendencies and use responsibly.
