Does speed go off?

The situation: popped some base into a capsule (4 safe keeping) <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">five months ago 4got about it & recently found it again.

The question: does speed go off? is there a used by date on things like this? As these sort of perscriptions are usually gobbled up pretty quickly it has never come up b4??? <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    Not sure, there've been occaisons where it seems to have gone off but also sometimes the longer it's left, the more potent it seems. My advice, give it a shot next time you're out but make sure you have some new as a back-up for if it's shit <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    Speed should last a long time, u said u found it in a capsule well that should have helped keep it fresh.
    As long as its kept dry and relatively cool i would have thought it would have been ok to use

    I read somewhere that if the egyptians had buried soem MDMA in the pyramids it would still be good to take now. Dont know if that also applies to speed but i expect so.
