What does every body in here think about changing the euro, i mean if we did that how would we know how much weed and pills are and wont everything be more expensive...

I think we should keep the pound as it rulz

We have da euro over here now and its grand.
Things seem more expensive but they aren't really. Ye Brits will join eventually, after ya see how well da euro's doin.

yeah, I dont see why Britain has got to be so different from the rest of Europe. I think it will be a lot better with the euro <IMG alt="image" SRC="cool.gif" border="0"> especially for people like me who want to travel and won't have to change over to foreign currency. <IMG alt="image" SRC="smile.gif" border="0">

no no no no no we don't want the euro, it may seem o.k so far but through time intrest rates, taxes etc will have to be uniform across europe, we have the second strongest economy in europe do you really want to be dragged down to an economy in line with greece and spain ????????? besides drugs are cheap in this country, they would get more expensive through time, everybody isn't thinking long term on this euro stuff, the pounds works very well, why change ? is changing a bit of currency really worth the risk ? Its o.k for the poorer countries they can now live of the richer ones

ah im gettin used to it now. looks and feels a bit like monopoly money but its all good. its the way forward! u brits will catch up soon enough <IMG alt="image" SRC="tongue.gif" border="0">

why is it the way forward ? i keep hearing this, it could do some serious damage to the economy of participating countries. We'll just wait and see i think, jumping in two footed isn't the best idea really

i have to agree with EB,, think long term!!

i dont want my hard earned cash (tax) going to shit hole in Spain, bollox,, just as the economy is on the edge of Resession

The single currency will lead to harmonisation of interest rates and taxes across the EU. This is one step away from a European superstate.
