Best club/clubs you've ever been to?

Just wondered what people round the globe think is the best club in their area.

I live in Birmingham and think the best one we've got is Code, especially God's Kitchen. Also been to Trade in London which was just f***ing amazing.

I agree God's kitchen is pretty good, i go clubbing around the country on a regular basis, and have you tried passion in coalville ? its fan-f****ng tastic there, also there is a little gold mine that is nottingham not far from you, the nightlife there is possibly the best i have come across, especially lost weekend, its not well know but a honey pot of greatness - hope that helps

Gatecrasher at the Republic in Sheffield (see 'best drugs experience'!). Wicked venue, great music, lovely crasher kids. I've only been a couple of times but it's definitely the best.

Only been clubbing since early this year, but possibly the most incredible was Earthdance @ the academy. Oh, and I had one night at the Fridge in Brixton (pendragon) that just blew me away.

Edited to say: The academy isn't a very good venue... the Fridge is great, but security can be a bit of a bastard. One of the best venues I've been to is the EQ warehouse in Hackney. No security inside, beautiful atmosphere, beatiful people, beautiful music. Jus pretty beautiful... <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif"&gt;

the place i like the most and is still open is cream in liverpool, but the best night i used to go to was fat tuesday in sunderland, the place was small but jam packed full of freindly people.

The best clubbing experiences I ever had were at a club called VooDoo in Liverpool. It changed locations several times (all of which were pretty grotty to be honest) but always retained the most amazing atmosphere because everyone who loved techno knew it was the place to be in Liverpool and it was a regular crowd. Old-skool ravers and new-style techno heads were all crammed into this little club where the DJ played right in front of you. Pure class.

Anyone know if it's still up and running??

Been to a couple there before, as i think i said already in this thread, and they were 2 of the best nights I've ever had. It looks like I'm facing a weekend off *again* this weekend (again as I had one off on the 27th) but Pendragon is down as a pretty much definate.
