    I lived in a youth/student hostel for about 4 months shortly after arriving here. Although it was a great laugh and proved a limitless source of shagging, I couldn't take it after a while. People of each nationality spent most of their time with their own: Italians with Italians, Spanish with Spanish, and so on. They all bitched constantly about how shit the weather was, who shit the food was, how expensive everything was, how cold the English were... I myself ended up telling several people "well if you despise England so much why don't just fuck off back to Spain then?

    Yes, moving abroad can be a shock to the system... but if one is to start making comparisons from the start and to concentrate on the bad aspects only, they might as well save themselves the hassle and stay home.

    With regard to this person's page, it's talking a load of bollocks throughout. Do Barclays really ask for £2,000 balance at all times for a current account? :rolleyes:

    And have you seen what he (I guess it's a he) has to say about English women?

    Thing is, as International Students have to pay shit loads of money to study here, they tend to be spoilt rich kids.

    International students have to have more money, and they don't get as many perks. Basically because the banks don't trust them, I think.

    And have you seen what he (I guess it's a he) has to say about English women?

    In my experience, it's the foreign women (especially the North Africans) who are the worst for slating English women.

    That's true enough, in my experience. It is a massive culture shock for them too.

    Although the two (non EU) international students who I would call friends are both thoroughly decent blokes.

    I think the author of that website has a chip on his shoulder for one reason or another. As for the banks, they do impose special conditions on intl students.

    Even if they don't, then they still steal money, and I am advising everyone to stear clear of them. Plus, they don't only steal, they have an appalling costumer service.

    my roommate in halls was like that, its so annoying, its london its bound to be crap and unfriendly lol

    Pretty funny link. Don't agree with them on the NHS/GP's though. Of the few experiences I've had with the NHS and my GP I've been very satisfied.

    Wonder where whoever is behind this site is from.
