Ok, so I went to the dentist 2 have a filling redone. I'm not afraid of needles, but the needles they stuck in me didn't work and when they started drilling pain kicked in <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif"&gt;

The problem is that no matter how many injections they gave me, they couldn't numb it so they sent me an appointment to go back in May. <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/eek.gif"&gt; more needles & pain then <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif"&gt;

Maybe I should get myself stoned before I go.

Hey don't worry!
Maybe next time they'll have sorted it out.. sometimes the stuff they numb you with takes time to kick in..

I avoided the dentist for ages, until a whole filling had fallen out and I had a tooth with a razor edge.. ulp, no choice, back to the dentist..
needles, MASSIVE filling.. sorted now tho.

for a while the thought of the needle meant I would force the dentist to fill my teeth with NO anaesthetic, and I would lie there with my eyes rolled up in their sockets when he drilled, but he chickened out and said he wouldn't do it again.
But in the end, the needle and all the rest is done with in an hour and any pain forgotten.

A friend told me a joke to help me with my fear:
"I love my dentist, he gives great oral"
Now when I've to go, I remember this and laugh!!

arrrghi HATE dentists. and the worst ive ever had done is 2 fillings in my milk teeth with no drilling!! but i just hate all of it, the fact you cant swallow and talk.. the sharp things he pokes in there and scratches around with and hurts... the other day he put this really painful stuff on to try and help with the sensitivity, with NO warning, i almost died!! didnt help anyway <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif"&gt;

i hate needles, it comes from spending 2 weeks getting injected with B12 every day in my leg when i was 3, coz i had a severe anaemic crisis.. its got so bad now ive kicked a doctor across the room and once i had to be given gas instead of knock me out to have a lumbar puncture, the same time i was in hospital before, and i kciked all those docs when i was on the operating table lol .. anyway i dont think i could cope with needles and fillings in my mouth, so FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!

cause i have never had fillings, braces or any of that malarkey and my dentist is really nice!! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

Probably not a great idea Liberty in case
the effects of the weed and novacane mix resulting in adverse side effects. Your best bet would be to speak to your dentist before the work begins.
