transfering MP3s

how am i going to transfer all my mp3's to my new computer.....all 1616 of them.......

    Network cable? CDR? Take the HDD from old machine and put into the new one?

    can't do that, the hard drive of this comp is my mum's so i can't do that.

    but USB wise.....how would i do that?

    either get a usb key with a huuuge memory, and jam them all on there, then transfer them to your nice shiny ney pc.

    or

    get a normal usb key, and fill it up and transfer over and over till you get them all ;)


    (you may well be best off with the network cable option, then you can pretty much drag and drop them from one pc to the other :thumb: )

    Take one network cable. Plug it into the socket on one computer. Plug it into the socket on the other computer.

    Then go to search, and then other devices on the network, or something like that.

    If im wrong, don't shoot me. I'll turn on my computer and check for you in a minute.

    If its on windows xp, on the search companion thing theres a facility called search for computers or people, click that and it should find it. Then its a case of selecting everything on the existing computer, pressing copy, going to the new computer, in your chosen destination press paste, and huzzah! problem solved.
