I've read the book... If the ending is the same, the film would have to be among the most disgusting ones ever. Absolutely no desire of watching it, EVER.

The film and the book (written by Stephen King i think, but under a penname) are completely different. In the film he is falsely accused of a crime and sent on the running man gameshow where Stalkers try to kill them in designated zones. Of course Arnie kills them all.

I've not read the book in a while but the whole Underground thing isn't in it either?

The film is great, but i think i prefered the book!

Is that true? I was afraid of having to watch (spoilers, mark to read) his guts falling out and him gathering them so they won't get entangled on a corpse's neck. :yuck:

Yeah it is, that doesn't happen in the film. The concept - that they are being chased - is very loosely the same in the book and the film. But that's about it really.

If you don't mind Arnie's brand of violence you won't mind the film. Though if you do watch it you might wonder whether it's based on the book.

    Great pics though Wheresmyplacebo!!
