This quote interested me particularly, surely looking for minor problems would be better, rather than jumping to conclusions of major problems, surely all that would do is scare the patient?
Ms Robinson, from Manchester, believes the problem with GPs is that they look for minor ailments first.
"It does not surprise me that doctors are misdiagnosing patients. In my experience, they just concentrate on minor problems instead of considering more major things like cancer.
"It causes unnecessary delay."

Common things occur commonly.
What on earth are you talking about
The diagnosis I can understand, the article doesn't say how often she went to her GP and from what she says he was right in his belief. Christ, if we started to get a specialist opinion everytime we falt a twing in our ankles....
Anyway, my concern was about that one quote specifically.
The doctor breached patient confidentiality.
We don't know all the circumstances though. Perhaps she had given permission for the GP to discuss her case with her parents?
Anyway, if I was that unhappy and still in pain after going to see my GP many times for the same thing I'd change my GP sharpish, not keep going back.
I would too, but the number of people who don't realise that they can is astonishing.
