pill and alcohol

i just started the pill yesterday.i take it at 10 every night as it's the best time.
i don't go out loads but when i do i'll be out when i need to take my pill.i can't swallow tablets without a drink so i was wondering if it is safe to take it with a drink of alcohol?
will it have any effect on me or on the effectivness of the pill?
if it's not safe, is it ok to take it a few hours early before i go out then carry it on at the regular time the next day?
sounds a dumb question but didn't think of asking when i got the pill because it was about 3 weeks ago when i got it so i hadn't worked out a time to take it

i dont think that would be a problem, you can drink alcohol with the pill. it would also be fine to take it a few hours earlier if you were going out so you didnt have to rememeber whilst at the bar. with the combined pill, you have a 12 hour leeway either side.

i just started on it on wednesday but i take it at 8am. i think its a good time to take it when you get up in the morning because i reckon i'd forget it if i was out, especially if i was drunk which is pretty likely but 10!

i always take mine in the morning too, but that can vary anytime from 6.30 to 11am

It should be fine, however you are right to take your pill at the same time every day, 'accidents' can happen if you don't take it correctly. If you drink too much and throw up, remember to use other protection (condoms)just as you would if you were ill. (See instruction pack if you are unsure on this).
