Best bargain was when I went to get my trousers that were 4 quid and two tops that were 2 and 4 quid. I was all pleased. Cause I walked out of the shop with three items I loved and only cost me a tenner all together. :thumb:

    Well, not exactly a bargain.
People are saying that the new ticket-sprouting machines for the tram aren't always working correctly, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
I pressed the buttons for a 0.30 ticket, put in a coin of 1 euro, and got... 2.50 as change. :hyper:

my best bargain in a long time has to be a vauxhall frontera i recently aquired for one and a half grand.
imaculate condition with a lot of history.
cd player. new tyres. long mot.
it had a brake problem that the the previuos owner couldn't fathom ...brake master cylinder ...fifty quid and an hours work to put right.
    seriously nice motor.

Not got many bargains lately unfortunately, closest thing being 24 cans of Tennents for £13 which I quite like!

Best bargain ever though has been a second hand leather jacket that I bought for £30 two and a half years ago. Still wear it as much now as I did then!

Hey hey hey! You'd drink scots piss water too if it was £1.23 a litre! Ever since I've had to start paying for "washing" and "cutlery" I've been on a very tight budget :(

    Oh for a Guinness...
