I do not agree. I think that this country has alot of gorgeous scenery to offer and we are quite lucky to have nice things on our doorstep rather than have to travel out to foreign countries.

And just because it rains it doesnt mean that it isnt as majestic.

it's like saying all irish people are called paddy, have ginger beards and live in caves under the ground, or all scottish people wear kilts and eat haggis, it's only a joke

Years ago when farming was bigger, most welsh farmers had sheep, because they cope better with the hills than the other farm animals. Could this be clever thinkin? oh no, we must have them just for shaggin, unlike the english, who just fuck themselves.

I've only ever been on adventure holidays in Wales, but from what I've read about laws and people's personal accounts, Welsh people seem to be really hostile towards the English.

How so? Robbing them off their independance, getting rid of their language etc?

We aren't hostile towards English, tbh the opinion I get of English people is that they are hostile towards Welsh.

    It's all a bit silly though really, isn't it - you english bastard:p ;)

i'm a taff and i'm proud of it. born in the sounds of what was once arms park. yet, i don't speak a word of welsh and i haven't been back for about 3 years.

it's a very beautiful place, but small, and quite insular, and if you don't speak welsh they seem not to like you. :( well thats what i found anyway.

What about all the stuff about "incomers"? And Plaid Cymru making sure every member can speak Welsh?

Yes, I live here in Wales too. So does the legendary Moroccan Roll and so does a moderator, the gorgeous Susie. (For the life of me, I hope she doesn't read that)
