    That sounds like a lovely scenario. Wish it were raining here too. Not that I've a nice log fire or anything, but wish I did.

    I don't have a log fire. I have a "flame effect". Not quite the same thing. :(

    Log fires are alright as long as they're not the only heating in the house, as was the last one I had. Brrr.

    Tell you what... never mind rain. I've just seen the long term forecast for this winter and if it's to be believed we're in for a colder and drier than average one. Lots of cold snaps. And this is by the people who advise the power companies.
