    To be honest I know of it but not about it... not big on Eastern religion and philosophy.

    In answer to the question, yes. I go to church but atm I'm working out what exactly I believe in and where I belong.

    Saying "religion is a pile of bunk" is disrespectful and ignorant.

    not religeous per se, I'll keep an agnostic stand.

    it would be... inappropriate, and ignorant as a physicist to completely deny religion, and thus I always say that there is a possibility.

    That said, I do not have "faith", but I am very open minded and find religious belief fascinating.

    Am spiritual as I don't adhere to any mainstream religion at all. I pick and choose what I like under the belief that we all worship the same source.

    Anybody who believes religion is a pile of crap, in my opinion and who just says it and can't back it up... well I don't understand why they say that. Religion doesn't cause wars, unequal distribution of wealth, power and a want for land does... it's just that affluent leaders tell their followers this and that because they'll know they'll fight in the name of their god/gods/goddess.

    However, personally I can't say I've liked the attitude of some religious people I've met (including Pagans... hence I separated myself from the community))... I mean to quote Ani DiFranco....

    theres a passage in the bible that i'll try and find ...it talks of a huge mistake that men make ...they worship the creation but forget the creator.

    surely religion then should be all about having a relationship with your god ...but do they? no.
    religion is the best tool going to obscure the truth about god.

    Religion is a way of formalising spiritual beliefs. Take it or leave it, but being 'religious' is different from having spiritual beliefs.
