I bet you've heard it before (be surprised if you haven't) but there's an interesting quote that goes something like:
"We think dolphins are an inferior species because all the do is play around all day, curiously, they think we the inferior species for exactly the same reason."
Can't remember it exactly though.
Not sure about my favourite animal, I like trees though. And plants. I'm a tree hugger you could say, except I don't go round tying myself to trees...
