yes there is but i have to click around as you have to refresh a page as the pop up won't come up if you just leave it, so if you click on the who's online page it normally refreshes automaticly but now it don't :(

In which case the reply would be there when you next visited. If you want instant communication use messenger or something.

turn on your 'auto-email when you receive a PM' and then go into messenger, and you get the little pop-up when you receive the 'you have received a PM' email, which means you now have a PM...

    Simple!

It seems it has a problem sometimes. Sometime in August, I noticed I had an unread PM from the beginning of July, and I was never informed about it.

Main thing is the 1000MB storage capacity.

Yep, the 1000meg (1gb) storage space is the main thing, plus you can have attachments up to 10meg so thats a plus.

If you're wondering, gmail accounts can be used with MSN messenger, you simply need to create a passport with your email address

I think Graeme's main point is that he doesn't get email alerts with his gmail account.

What's the point in having that much space?

I'm happy with hotmail...I rarely run out of space and haven't deleted any of the proper emails I've been sent since I got my account like 2 months ago. Actually...I feel well unpopular now :(
