MSN slow typing

My MSN seems to be up the creek? When I type words, I am typing quite rapidly, yet the letters appear slowly, one by one on the screen, as if i am typing with about one finger. Why is this happening, and how can I solve the problem? I've already tried uninstalling MSN and downloading/reinstalling it, which hasn't helped. I'm really not having a good week with technology this week:mad:

    that sounds like a potential system problem rather than an msn specific one

    This is happening to me too. Except it seems to freeze my entire system too.
