Whilst watching last night's episode of 'Himalaya' and thinking about all of the other shows Michael Palin has done, i've been thinking how blessed we are to have such an amazing place around us...

well said!
Ah, but has it. See, in many cases, humanity compliments the world instead of destroying it. It's only where greed and obsession with power has taken over that gives rise to the destruction of the environment to satisfy someone's bank balance.
but i do agree that it can compliment it, though i think nature is best in it's original state
gimme some of them drugs you're taking i wanna think like that.
I'm not sure whether that's supposed to be an insult to my thoughts or a compliment...
its a compliment, better than saying, nice theory or something like that.
Thanks
Oh, and here's something insightful so I don't feel like a post whore...
Why haven't americans noticed how beautiful rural America really is in terms of a landscape? See Thelma and Louise and you'll understand. It really is very pleasant, but most americans seem to think it's boring and monotonous...
Indeed, Americans, one group of fat people who all think exactly the same, all have fat asses and vote Bush.
Many Americans do notice, there are many very large national parks just for this purpose.
The reason a lot of Americans dont like some parts of the US is that there are places that are just plain bloody dull. Have you been to the Mid-West?
