Is anyone here on that form of the pill, and if so, have they had any side effects? I've been on microgynon 30 for a year and a half, and my doctor changed my pill to see if it helped my period pains.. i run my pills back to back, so i'm supposed to take two packs of microgynon and one of loestrin, but i was wondering what side effects it might have? I'm fine on microgynon now, but in the first few months, my breasts were really sore, and i just wondered if it was likely to happen again/anyhting else would be different. Thanks!

    Are you on Loestrin 20 or 30? I was put on 20 and it gave me a bit of increased appetite, but I didnt have a major weight gain. It def helped for period pain <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> It all depends on your sensitivity to it.

    I was on Loestrin but it made me feel sick and I still had irregular periods which is worrying every month when you don't know if it's just your body playing up or if you're pregnant. I'm on microgynon now which has helped with pain and regularity, but I'm putting weight on!!! Just shows it's different for all of us, you just need to give it a go.
