Hi I want to start downloading music off the internet, anybody got any good sites they could recommend? Ta very much x

    I don't download very often... when I do sometimes I use this site http://www.yourmp3.net/ It's not that good, but it's free anyway. :rolleyes:

    Napster = 99p per track or 9.95 per album.

    Napster also have a monthly charge where you pay and download as much as you want, i think.

    Have a look on www.zeropaid.com - it should tell you what clients can be used for Mac's.

    Thanks, i'm a bit of a technophobe though, it's looks quite complicated, i thought i could go on a site and instantly downloads songs i wanted, do i have to download loads of software first? :confused:

    You're gonna need software anyway. No sites store any kind of decent collection of well known songs on their own servers.

    I think there's a DirectConnect client for Macs. Google it and use that if there is.

    Cannot believe people still use winmx etc why not use bittorrent its the way forward.
