Fuck i went to a real all American keg party tonight . . . was awesome . . . we did this thing called a keg stand (your mates hold you upside down while you down as much of the keg as you can) and I battered all the yanks . . . rule britania . . . anyways anyone else had an interesting night?

Depends, I dont drink piss lagers, but there are very fine belgian beers that are super!
What about Old Speckled Hen? that's another nice ale so I hear.
Some Belgain lager is very good. I was supping a Belgian ale in Wetherspoon's the otehr day, it was muy deliciosa.
It's alright, but it's quite corporate. It's of the same ilk as Marston's Pedigree, Spitfire, London Pride and Tetley's Best. It's a nice enough ale, and I will enjoy it if it is on, but if there are any guest ales on I would drink them ahead of it.
dahn sahf you won't get a lot of these, but my favourite ales are:
Black Sheep - Riggwelter.
Theaskston - Old Peculier (even if Theakston are owned by Scottish Courage)
Darwin - Java Jolt.
Phoenix - Wobbly Bob.
Mordue - Workie Ticket, Al' Wheat Pet, No. 9.

My brother put a lot of effort into getting good beer in the states. He as a wholefoods over the way which is a big organic store they have across the pond
It didn't used to be, my sister did her year in industry at the brewery near oxford before they were bought.
My old local stocked a wide variety of Belgian ales, and they were all 8%.
I was enjoying a very fine fruit beer in there, and it was just the 11.5%.
