Smoker's cough

I just quit smoking 'cause I had a smoker's cough and it's got worse since i stopped <IMG SRC="frown.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">. What's wrong?

thats a good thing, its just your body clearing out all the shit thats inside you from smoking, all the phlegm and stuff. your bodys using the time youre not smoking to try and get healthy again!
the same happened to me when i gave up and after a while my cough went completly, so keep it up! <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

This is a strange scenario to me, I've smoked about 2 years now, probably an average of 5 a day. The only time I get a cough is when I smoke a really 'packed' Joint. Is this good/bad or maybe I have an invincible immune system, like David Dunn (Unbreakable)?

Leading on, what does everyone prefer to smoke? I smoke Marlborough Lights, the red ones are strong as fuck!

Yeah, what ali said, it takes a while for all the crap to leave your system.

Smoking paralyses the tiny microscopic hairs (cilia) inside your airways. When you stop smoking they start moving again and doing their job properly - which is clearing out all the nasty gunk in your lungs!
