    Unfortunately it's quite possible to mistake 13 year olds for 16/17. A girl i once knew was 14 but to look at her she looked about 16 or 17. She hit puberty early and was stunning. If i hadn't have known her id probably have thought her nearer my own age at the time. My best friend used to be like this. She always does look about 5 years ahead of herself.

    I have looked the same age since I was about 11 or 12 - I can still wear all the same clothes and everything - I hardly ever wear make up now and certainly not then but everyone thougth I was about 18.

    Though I am slightly more disturbed by the fact that a 13 year old was out in a bar - surely they should be at home having sleepovers and sneeking drinks out of thier parents drinks cabinets and dreaming of meeting boys rather than actually going out there and being pro active about it.

    Maybe I had a very backwards youth.

    the world has gone down the shitter, youngesters are being children anymore. i remember when i was younger, i'd never dream of any of the shit the children of today do, they have no respect and are not being children anymore.

    It was the last thing on my mind!! And I'm sure I wouldn't of been the only lad fooled that night! But unfortunately for her, I won't be seeing her again in the near future. Just got to thank my lucky stars that she told me!

    thats so true, it could have went a lot further and then you would be fucked. it would have probably came out but your lucky it came out before anything went to far.

    There was a story on the news a couple of weeks ago about a 13 year old out in one of the clubs here. I was shocked that she'd managed to get into the club in question as it has a strict door policy.

    Kids these days (damn that makes me sound old and I'm not!!) try to look and act so much older. I shocks me that you chatted up this girl and found out that she was only 13 but it doesn't really surprise me.

    Again I agree with the others, a bit of a lucky escape for you there, could've been in a lot of trouble

    It's hard to tell. The girl could well have looked 16 or 17, and a bit of cleavage to a bouncer and she'd be in the club. Some girls are physically mature at 13 or 14, and some aren't at 18 or 19.

    Mentally is a different issue, but on looks alone it's easy to be fooled, especially in a dark bar.

    15 year olds often look about 20.

    Very easily. Girls mature a lot early these days and i have no doubt that a 13 yr old could pass as much older.
    Even after speaking to a 13 yr old you could be easy fooled. Im not saying all girls could pass as older but there are quite a few.

    I think my sister at 14 looked older then she does now at 28

    If she's in a bar she won't be talking about Barbies- you'd be amazed. I was listening to two eleven-year-olds discussing the finer points of blowjobs the other day on the bus.

    If she reads Cosmo it's quite easy to converse to a reasonably older standard.
