hi all,
i am transferring unis so am starting somewhere completely new in my 2nd year, have read loads of advice on here about first time starters but am terrified that everyone i meet is already going to have their own groups and am going to be friendless for the next two years! has anyone on here transferred or have any advice for me?

I transferred unis half way through 1st year and i survived. I did know 3 people in my class from school though, but i found that i met other people in my tutorial groups and things, when groups are smaller. If in doubt, just sit beside someone who is also on their own in a lecture and get chatting. If they dont want to know, its their loss.
