i should be SO fat!... and im NOT!!!

My friends are often going on at me that i "eat shite" and its true!
I go to the chippy for my munch most days and have i.e...
Chips n gravy, pie, a muffin and a cream cake from the bakery... can of coke and maybe a choc bar or bag of crisps!
and at break ill have 2 packets of crisps!

ill then go home and eat a plateful of food (resonably healthy but LOADS of it!!!) I eat at all the wrong times AS WELL as the right times i have all the usual shite like crisps and ice cream just general shite!

when im workin ill go to mcdonalds and spend £6/7 on crap! and still buy snacks during other breaks and after work i might go to BK or McD's! Oh and i drink... heavily... to excess! i eat snacks at the pub....

And the best bit... i DO VERY LITTLE (if any!) EXERCISE!!!

the point is im 17 yrs old, 6ft 2 and i only weigh 11 stone... on a good day!

Why?... im tryin my best to put a bit of weight on... because i get down about me bein thin! people say that i musnt eat enough but a day with me and they soon change their minds!

Does anyone know of any medical condition that may be causing this? or What i can do to prevent this occuring??

My Doctor told me to avoid Rapid Weight gain products when i asked him about it... so what else??

    Why exactly are you complaining?

    Enjoy the crap while you can.

    You're not putting on weight because you have a high metabolism, so it's 'burnt off' before it accumulates as fat.

    Sooner or later it will catch up with you, so be warned. It's always best to have a healty balanced diet whether you are fat or not. Remember, your weight alone is not the most important factor in your overall health. By eating junk, your body won't thank you later on.

    Yeah, Kentish is right! Everyone is different so some people burn up more calories etc per day than other people. Get into the habit of eating healthily NOW so that when your body does start to change as you get older, you'll be in the right position not to become a lard-arse! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="smile.gif" border="0">

    You've got good metabolism - be happy but remember that it doesn't mean that all that crap isn't going to clog up your arteries and eventually lead to heart disease like it does with fat people...

    Hey!

    Hey listen I know this guy I went to high school with! he had a good metabolism and he got through high school ok but when at school he ate a big massive fry in the morning at break 2 bags of crisps a chocolate bar and a can of fanta and then at lunch 2 plates of chips 1 slice of pizza and 2 sausages and 2 cans of coke well this guy now weighs about 18 stone because it caught up with him about 1 or 2 years after he left school now and he was really fit now she could'nt run the lenght of himself you would just need to watch it because it will most likely catch up with you! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="frown.gif" border="0"> <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="frown.gif" border="0">

    Well I eat a largish amount of shite, but in proprtion to the other food I eat quite healthily. (if that makes sense). Even if you are not putting on weight, eating unhealthily is bad for you and can lead to all sorts of problems. If you are trying to put on weight I would recommend exercise rather tham just sitting there and eating crap.

    if u want to put on weight - head down the gym. im much like u. 20, 11 stone, 6 foot. when i was about 18 people always used to complain i was too thin and yet i could eat shed loads. i went to the gym put on weight, looked bigger built and could still eat the crap i did before - without feeling guilty about it.

    rapid weight gains do work but exercise as well and then it will bulk you up rather than just fattning you up....try to steer clear of steroids though

    As someone who has seen what steroids can do to people I would advise doing a bit more than trying to stay clear of steroids <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="smile.gif" border="0">

    ur lucky! u have a ded fast metabolic rate which is pretty kool to have! at leaat u dont have to watch wat u eat! enjoy it!
