Sorry to bring us onto a more wintry subject, but I'm desperate for a pair of green fingerless gloves, the type that go up your first knuckle and then stop - any ideas of where I can find a pair? Don't have to be green but if they are then all the better......

    Surely they won't keep your hands warm though? If you don't need them too then don't wear gloves. Strange.... :eek2:

    Accessorize do a good selection of finger-less gloves, not sure about green ones you'd have to check.

    And finger-less gloves actually do keep your hands warm. Menthal.

    How do they keep your fingers warm though? They're the bit that gets the coldest on my hand and if they're exposed to thr elements....

    I'm seriously not taking the piss (yet) I'm curious as to how they work!!

    Gloves are for cold weather and murders (which would make the fingerless ones pointless) otherwise you might start to look like this guy, and nobody wants that.

    you can make out of collants... i made 2 pairs in black net out of some "old" ones... yu shold try, it's simple...

    I think the aim of fingerless gloves is to provide your hands with somewarmth whilst also leaving your fingers free. I don't know about anyone else, but I can't do anything when I've got my gloves on...fasten/unfasten buttons, use a dial pad, open doors...they render me useless. So fingerless gloves work for me!

    I've never actually bought a pair, I've always hacked the fingers off normal gloves and edged them so they don't fray. Ignoring the fact that the true reason I do this is cos I'm a tightwad ;) it also gives you more choice :)
