I'm wondering if I, being a foreigner, would try to apply for Universities based in the UK, would I need to take an English language test beforehand? I keep hearing that they're a necessity but I don't actually know much about this.

And if they are required, what exactly do they test and where might I be able to take that kind of a test? I'm fairly sure that I can somehow take it here in Iceland but mum was mentioning something about it only being possible on the US army base, so I dunno. o.0

Go to the britishcouncil homepage, and it will direct you to their office on Iceland :)

Btw, they test your spoken and written English. Both formally and regular.

Thank you, I will take a look at that and see what I can find. :)
