Liquid Health Blends

Looking for some health blends for my dad cos he finds it hard to swallow pills

When we were on holiday in Canada my aunt took something called intra which her and my uncle swear by, and said it gave them so much energy but I noticed the main ingreditent in it was sugar, so not surprised.

Does anyone take any liquid supplements?

Am particularly looking for ones containing Ginkgo

I don't know anything about this "Intra" you mentioned, but I know that there are various multivitamin and "health" drinks which are largely made up of sugar, supposedly giving you a healthy boost but in reality giving you no more than a sugar rush.

Boots, Superdrug and Lloyds all do the usual suspects in liquid forms as well as capsules - things like Cod Liver Oil and Vitamin C, but since you're looking for slightly more specialist stuff they're probably not your best bet.

I know you can get Ginkgo-Biloba Liquid from Holland and Barrett, I've seen it before and I think it's about £4-5 for 30ml. However if you take it the same was as I take their Echinacea extract (which is also a liquid, and which I take their by simply putting a few drops on my tongue or dissolving them in half a glass of water) it will last a fair while. They also don't contain any sugar, artificial additives and are suitable for veggies (like me :D)and vegans!

H&B do every kind of vitamin you can imagine, and more often than not they also offer them in liquid form. So if you pop down to the one nearest you (and there will be one, whether you know it or not :) ) and you [or your Dad] can take your pick. They also do some vitamin and health drinks (if that's something your Dad would be interested in) but again they're of a limited variety, usually just your basic Multivitamin and then things like Aloe Vera drinks.

Hope this helps you a bit :)

Edited to add: I wasn't sure so I just checked...H&B have an online shop, so you can browse their selection to your heart's content and then order without having to trawl around looking for things. Take a gander.

    Thanks for all that info

We were in H&B a few days ago and saw they hardly had any liquid products and what they did have were only single vitamins and minerals per liquid.

I believe liquids are also better absorbed then pills
