How long does it take???

Well with all the recent postings on the board about love and my recent experiences, it got me thinking, how long do you think it takes to fall in love??
I know it all depends on thne individual but people who have only been together a short time, eg me + my ex, others on the board who met up on holiday for 1 week, do you think that was real love?
Do you think you can fall in love in such a short space of time??

Like you said it does depend on the indivuduals, if you meet them on holiday they can be acting different to what they are like in normal day to day life, so you may be falling for someone who aint what they really are. But how long it takes, it took me a matter of days and we are still together 5 months on. all depends

You can definitely fall in love within a week. I did, and I know it was love. It's different for everyone though. Different people, diferent situations. That which does not kill us makes us stonger. Or mental <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/confused.gif"&gt;

is it possible 2 fall in love AFTER they have left u? The guy i like i met on holiday, but i was goin out with sum1 at the time. Wen we left, i realised wot a mistake i ad made coz my bf was a jerk and this guy was so sweet. Now i fink im in love with him. We are just gud friends at the moment.

If you're mates, then let it grow in to what ever it's going to, if you get really close as friends then there's a always a good chance of a relationship hatching out of that well-cared for little egg, isn't there?! i think its possible to fall in love after theyve finished with you, but that its more likely youve only just noticed feelings that were there all along.

what is love? and how far in love is in love?
I know what it is for me, and I think it took about a dozen emails and 3 phone calls.

We've been together for the best part of a decade, and each year we've been more in love than the last.

it takes any amount of time to fall in love. it can be after 5 mins when you just click with someone or after five years when you wake up one morning and realise you're in love! its a weird but wonderful thing!

Sorry, shouldn't be too sarky I guess. Love isn't one thing, so different people fall in love in different ways at different rates, not surprising really cos everyone's different, and every situation is different.

my ex lived a long way away... and we were already friends from the net, and he came to see me, and then i went up there for a few days and thats when we got together. but i dont think i was in love with him until he came down to stay for 2 weeks in the summer, which was about a month after i started going out with him i guess. or maybe 3 weeks. hmm. although before that there were obviously feelings, im not sure how youd classify them, i cared about him and we were best friends, but i dont know if i was in love or not. its hard to say once the relationship is over and the feelings changed so much from the beginning. i guess it depends on the person and the circumstances.
