Arthritis??

I'm a bit worried about the top joint of the middle finger of my left hand - most times I flex it (as of two ir three days ago) I can feel and hear the bones rub against each other and it can get quite painful. I'm worried the cartilage has worn down or something and that it could be fairly serious. I'm going to make an appointment with the doctor to get it seen too but I thought I'd post it here as well.

Thoughts?

    Get thee to a doctor. there's nothing anyone else can say really.
