Saw this offer earlier this morning, seems very good value for money, considering the ink cartriges are worth £25 on their own!

Just checked on Dell's site. To get a pair of cartridges delivered to your door would cost almost fifty quid! Sod that!
seems fairly cheap, im sure there are cheaper though, just google for
"Dell 720 / A920"
and there are various sites that sell the refil ink cartriges for cheaper :-)
....Just checked, and yes, it's the same cartridge, and you find the A920 listed more often than the 720, so search for A920 cartridges.
Yeah but who cares, for ten quid you can use it until the supplied cartridges run out then throw it away
I just ordered mine thanks to Noog's posting, if he'd put it in computers I'd have most likely seen it tomorrow ehn it was too late.. well done Noog
I dont actually have anywhere as such to store the printer, but for £10 I'll find somewhere!
yes
Yes but
My very first inkhet printer was a Canon and costed me £500
And ink was £10 per cartidge and it needed 4 cartridges.
But I used to refill and it worked out about £2 to refill all cartidges rather then £40 to buy new ones
Just seen 6 of each for £19 from choice stationary but only cos it's their 6th birthday
why do people have to be so fucking awkward???
.....and they do! Weeeeeee! :hyper: Thanks DG! :thumb:
double check your bill
9.99 here, maybe they ordered it after the deadline or from a different page away from the promotion page.
No he ordered just after me and said it was £9.99 on screen
So has anyone recieved their printer yet?
Not heard anything about delivery yet either.
Not the best printer I've ever had but still bloody good bargain!
*shakes fist*
bah.
It works.
It comes with some "trial" cartridges. I don't know how these differ from the real cartridges.
Set it up, and gave it a go, and it's a fine little printer. Very fast at printing a letter. Haven't given the colour a go yet, but will have to test out a photo on it.
It's small, neat, and obviously a lightweight, plasticy, budget printer, but for the money it's fantastic!
The "trial" ink cartridges probably just don't come with much ink. But replacements are cheap enough if you shop around, so no problem there - especially when I got it for a tenner.
I noticed that too. Dunno how they vary from usual cartridges.
I didnt even get a order number sent and the online tracking didn't work!
