ahhh fuck.. thought i read summit diffrent:(
My IF i used Ebay i'd use a splash card, you can stick cash on it and then they take it off the card:)
I think you get fees and shit on that which is why i dont use it.
I don;t think its much, i know when i signed up for it i had to pay summat & i think you pay a small fee for either having it or when you use it. It should tell you.
Ok fair enough, but i know i had to pay something when i joined, maybe its changed. I'm sure someone else can tell you.
it used to be that their protection rules only applied to the US. now they apply to us too. yay and stuff.
paypal is perfectly safe if you're the buyer. if you're the seller it can be a bit dodge, but as long as you're sensible, it's fine.
and fees only to the seller, and then only on credit card transactions. if you have a balance on your account, they don't charge.
The only problem ive had with paypal is transferring paypal funds into my bank account, but thats when Ive been the seller. Its been fine when ive used it to pay for things.
I prefer Nochex though.
nochex are safer, easier to use and better, but you can only use it within the UK, and most of my transactions are international.
so paypal by necessity.
When you sign up for Paypal they deduct two small amounts (always less that £1) from your card / bank account so that you can enter the transaction numbers to verify your account once you receive your bank statement. This is for security purposes.
I've had a cheque lost and I had one from a seller get lost so cheques have been in my 48 complete sales/buyings 2 have been lost.
