Maybe this should be fashion, but who gives a shit;)

just redying my hair "intense red" or "ruby" or whatever but the hair dye came out purple when putting onto my hair this time. Its the same make as I used last time but is a slightly different colour (virtually not noticable on the packet and I wouldn't have known the difference if I hadn't read the colour)

I'm just scared of getting purple hair now because I might not have mixed the bottle well enough:crazyeyes

Who cares? I've just come back from the hairdressers with parts of my hair (The undercut section on one side) orange and purple. :thumb:

Yeh, it should be fine. After working in a hairdressers, you'd be suprised at the colour of the dyes when they're applied - they change as they develop though.

So what? I've had purple patches in my hair before. And pink pubes!
...And I've just done my hair again today, and rebleached my pubes to dye pink for the weekend.

Anyways I used to frak when I saw the colour of the dye at the hairdressers til she explained it wasn't what it would look like at the end. Its an easy mistake to make-they should put info on the box!

Now I am blackhaired so its kinda easy to tell if the dye is the wrong colour!

My mate did that quite by accident. She bought some cheap thongs and was sunbathing in a pair when it was really really hot weather (last year i think). Because she was getting all sweaty etc. the dye ran from the thong and onto her pubes, hey presto bright pink pubes I laughed my head off because only she could manage that bless her.

Erm Solid L, how do you get that purple is anyless gay then "ruby red"?
