Petrol price wars

.........now thats what I like to see.

Competition like this is great because it means the motorist is going to get a better deal, got to be a good thing. Especially for people who do a lot of travelling.

    Competition is generally good but in this case the important thing is that the competition drives the development of new fuel sources, more efficient engines, greener solutions etc, not just pander to the motorist and make increasedx consumption easier........

    I went to bbc news, then UK news. Its about Asda starting the price war and they are selling petrol at 79.9 I beleive we paid 82.9 last week ? Also Tescos if you spend 50 pound in their shop you get a voucher for 5p of every litre you put in.

    Esso (or rather its parent company Exxon) truly is the spawn of the devil anyway. I haven't refuelled at any of their stations in years.

    Forgot to add that the AA's petrolbusters website is a useful tool when it comes to finding the cheapest petrol in your area.
